Oxygen Analyzers

During every administration of general anesthesia, the inspired concentration of oxygen in the anesthetic delivery system must be measured by an oxygen analyzer with a low oxygen concentration limit alarm. The oxygen analyzer is calibrated with room air and oxygen, with the alarm usually set to sound when the inspired oxygen concentration decreases below 30%.
