Peripheral Nerve Stimulator

It is desirable to monitor the status of the neuromuscular junction with a peripheral nerve stimulator when using muscle relaxants during anesthesia. This monitor facilitates the assessment of both the adequacy of neuromuscular blockade and spontaneous drug-- enhanced recovery.
